The Kotor–Lovćen Cable Car will start operating on Friday, May 1, officially marking the opening of the 2026 season. One of the most popular excursion destinations during the May Day holidays will once again be available to visitors.
For international and regional guests visiting this destination for the first time, the 11-minute cable car ride connects the Bay of Kotor coastline with Lovćen, offering a unique perspective of the area, culminating in a breathtaking view from the top overlooking the Bay of Kotor—often described as one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Mediterranean.
Ahead of the opening, the early ticket purchase campaign is in its final phase and will last for three more days, available exclusively through online sales.
As part of this campaign, the promotional price for a round-trip gondola ticket is €14, while the Alpine Coaster ride is available for €8. All tickets purchased online during this period can be used until May 31, 2026.
From May 1, preseason ticket prices and special offers for families with children come into effect.
The preseason prices include a round-trip gondola ride at €20 for adults and €5 for children, while the Alpine Coaster ride costs €10. One-way tickets are also available, and the full price list will be published on the official website.
During May, additional benefits are planned, especially for weekend family visits:
- 50% discount on gondola tickets for children up to 12 years old (online purchase)
- Tickets under these conditions are valid only on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of May
- Free access to the children’s playground on weekends
Additional benefits include:
- 15% discount on online gondola tickets for Mastercard and CKB Visa users
- 20% discount on Fast Track Alpine Coaster for Mastercard Premium users
The cable car will operate daily from 9 AM to 8 PM, while on Tuesdays it will start at 10:30 AM.
Key preparations on Lovćen have been completed, while new attractions and facilities are being developed throughout the season, including new viewpoints, improved hiking trails, and activities for a more active stay in nature.
